UAB Renerga is an active member of water, wind and solar energy associations with which it shares its experience in Lithuania and abroad. In 1996, the company became a part of the Lithuanian Hydropower Association. The company currently belongs to the Wind Power and Solar Energy Associations, the National Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Platform.

Capacity

  • UAB Renerga owns the Pastrėvis small hydroelectric power plant, built in 1998. Also the Kavarskas small hydroelectric power plant, which has been operating since 2002. The company built a wind farm in Benaičiai, Kretinga district, in 2006, and at the end of 2010 a new wind farm Benaičiai-1 started operating next to it. In 2013, an experimental 6 kW small wind and 4.2 kW solar power plant was built next to the wind farm service center. They ensure the power supply to the service center in the event of a power failure. In the same year, a 1 MW solar power plant was established in Benaičiai.
  • All of these resources produce 135 million kWh a year of green electricity. That would be enough to supply almost 60 thousand Lithuanian households during the same period.
  • At the forefront of these results is a professional, experienced and qualified team of 18 specialists of the company. The annual turnover of UAB Renerga is 12 million eur.

Partnerships

UAB Renerga is an active member of national renewable energy associations. Back in 1996, the company became a part of the Lithuanian Hydropower Association. Later it joined Lithuanian Wind Power and Lithuanian Solar Energy Associations, the Lithuanian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technology Platform.

UAB Renegra, together with UAB Koncernas ACHEMOS GRUPĖ and its subsidiaries, seeks to operate sustainably, use natural resources responsibly and consistently reduce its impact on the environment. Effective, environmentally friendly technologies and pollution prevention measures are implemented in production. The companies belonging to the group have implemented environmental management systems that meet the requirements of the ISO: 14001 standard.
